Work Experience
Chief Technology Infrastructure
COINS TECH | Aug 2014 - May 2018
As Chief Technology Infrastructure at COINS TECH, I oversaw technological development projects focused on computer vision, access systems, and database management.
One of the most significant projects during my time at COINS TECH was the development of a license plate recognition (LPR) system. This system, designed for the Universidad Santo Tomás de Bucaramanga, utilized low-cost Arduino boards. I coordinated two engineers from Medellín and 11 technicians from the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga for this project. Finally, the system was implemented and integrated into the vehicular access system of Universidad Santo Tomás, ensuring security across the campuses of Bucaramanga, Floridablanca, and Piedecuesta.
Developer of an Architecture for Risk Analysis and Detection in Chronic Degenerative Diseases
Conacyt Public Centers Consortium (CIMAT, CICESE, INAOE) | Aug 2020 - Dec 2020
Development of an Android application with React Native for continuous user monitoring and real-time data collection for early risk detection of chronic degenerative diseases. Development of a REST API to integrate the monitoring application with algorithms that identify patterns in the collected data.
Developer of The Kiss Genesis Project NFT
Vertigo Graffiti and Inmutable Lab | Nov 2021 - Dec 2021
The developer of the KISS Genesis NFT project oversaw the creation and implementation of the NFT project associated with the legendary mural El Beso de los Invisibles in Bogotá. Led the development process, collaborating with artists and stakeholders to tokenize exclusive digital assets related to the mural.
Developer of Strax Dashboard Transactions Traceability
The Stable Europa Validator | May 2022 - Aug 2022
The developer of the Strax Dashboard transactions traceability was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the functionality of the Strax Dashboard for tracking and analyzing blockchain transactions. This role involved closely collaborating with the development team to implement features that enhance transaction tracking capabilities, ensuring the integrity and transparency of blockchain operations conducted through the Strax Dashboard.
Development Project Leader at CONEXALAB
CONEXALAB SAS BIC | Nov 2021 - Feb 2024
At CONEXALAB, I collaborated on two projects: MAMUS and i-CO2. In MAMUS, I played a key role in integrating the option to generate NFT certificates, adding technological value for students and encouraging the adoption of new technologies. Simultaneously, I led the i-CO2 project, enabling users to track how their crops contribute to CO2 emission reductions and increase their value by understanding their health status and environmental impact.
Project Leader at AGROIMPULSO
Chamber of Commerce of Armenia | Nov 2024 - Feb 2025
At Finca Campo Alegre, I led the methodological design for implementing a cold-climate crop laboratory using blockchain technology. This project aimed to transform traditional administrative and production processes through a funding mechanism based on emerging economies. During my tenure, I developed the architecture for the blockchain-based funding system, designing and implementing ERC-20 and ERC-721 smart contracts to ensure traceability and transparency in resource execution. Additionally, I integrated an IoT-based monitoring system for real-time data collection, optimizing cultivation conditions and improving agricultural process efficiency.
